ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for consistently achieving sales
targets. These include product mix, volume, and margin to
deliver stable and reoccurring revenue stream.
* Evaluate individual rep performance. Manage and direct reps
efforts within account. Work in conjunction with rep to plan
and coordinate activities designed to impact sales targets.
* Develop and share "best practices" throughout
multiple locations of National Account to ensure consistent
support and coverage
* 60% of time in the market place - pulling 3 days per week
in the field
>>Driving specifications via face time with key personnel
within National Account.
>>Sales management activities; Presentation to PO #;
Quote hit rate, forecast order list management.
* Responsible for coordinating activities to hit sales plans
>>People resources; Rep group, Customer Service, PLD,
UB Organization, SE, etc.
>>Training ; DSR's, Rep's, consultants
>>Money Resources; budgets, customer programs, marketing
programs. Price discounts and margins ( be the business manager),
buying program leverage, support credit for prompt payment
* Experts in following the UB formalized selling process -
Solution Selling
>>Product expertise and utilize the team selling model
>>Developing territory business plans and ongoing measurement
against
>>Forecast to manage gaps in volume within account
>>Understanding product and services application and
how it applies in the field
>>How to sell against our competitors
>>Pre-call plans
>>Constant follow up based on sales plan
>>Call reports with follow up action plans - and follow
up on each action item.
>>Understanding & knowledge of competition
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain good communication with other regional
managers (including the chain side)
* Proactively look for opportunities to enhance UB's product
offering
* Customer advocacy
>>Intimate knowledge and development of target opportunities
within National Account
>>Educate UB organization on the customer's unique needs
and "hot buttons" so organization can be proactive
in taking care of them
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
* Must be able to work well independently as well as be a
part of team
* Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
* Ability to travel extensively.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field
* Minimum of 8-10 years sales and marketing, preferred in
food service equipment
* Minimum of three years experience in sales supervision
